a nice clean look and simple navigation - so far, so good
Looks fantastic. Very intuitive. Be really cool if we could create a personal calendar of the conversations we wanted to attend that would then download to iCal or Outlook.
Conversation bookmarking & iCal feeds are already on the todo list, should be in sometime this week
-Take the "#" off the twitter search. This will show you both when people use the "#" and when folks just write "educon"
-In the whos attending tab indicate how to be listed
-Have a list of presenters and be able to click on a presenter name and see their conversations.
Have a link to these discussions and make sure the presenters know. Would be fun to have pre-conversations. Would be great if some students are involved too.
Ohh...see the discussions link now, but would be nice if it was a tab...and yes, invite presenters :-)
Great suggestions Lisa. I removed the hash from the Twitter search.
Could you clarify what you meant by "In the whos attending tab indicate how to be listed". There is a form already on the top of the page to set your own status. Do you mean a way to change how the list is formatted?
We're working on better ways of associating presenter profiles with their conversations. Right now all we have are the lists of names imported from the Wiki an not everyone has setup a profile.
We need a place to put our second life names! :)
I see indications that I can create bookmarks of conversations and meetups that create a personal calendar. Haven't been able to figure out how though. What am I missing?
I have the same question as Mike Cullum. Using Firefox; are links to calendar and bookmarks only visible in IE, maybe?
Could you add a page where people could post links to their EduCon blog postings? I'd love to share my thoughts and see what others have to say about their experiences.
